According to Clément Lhommeau, co-CEO and co-founder of Blify, the tool is designed to be used by both instructional designers and non-technical profiles, such as marketing directors or managers looking to quickly train their teams on new offerings or regulations.

In practical terms, users can import various types of documents, such as PDFs or web pages, and specify their training objectives. The AI agent then generates a structured training plan that can be distributed to the relevant employees in just a few clicks.

What sets Blify apart is its distribution method. Rather than adding a new platform to the tools already used by employees, Blify integrates training directly into applications like Slack, Microsoft Teams, or WhatsApp. "We go where the users are," summarizes Clément Lhommeau.

The tool not only answers questions but also proactively offers varied content, such as flashcards, on-the-fly generated podcasts, videos, and even voice role-playing games to practice professional scenarios.

For sales teams, Blify integrates into the CRM via browser extensions, providing contextual micro-training directly within the business interface.

A Sophisticated AI Architecture

Under the hood, Blify relies on a multi-agent architecture. Each function of the platform, whether it's creating training or daily interactions with employees, mobilizes one or more specialized agents that collaborate with each other.

Clément Lhommeau explains that Blify does not always use the same AI models. For some agents, they may use GPT-4o or GPT-4.1, while for others, they might utilize models from Google or Mistral.

The choice of models is made according to an MLOps approach, where the team tests several models for each task, compares the results on a dataset, and selects the one that offers the best performance. The main goal is to ensure that the chain of agents produces the best overall result.

Regarding the business model, Blify has opted for a per-user licensing approach. "We chose not to go for a variable model, as is often the case in AI. We preferred to keep it simple for our clients, so they know exactly what they are paying for," explains Clément Lhommeau, while not ruling out a future evolution of the model.

Blify primarily targets mid-sized enterprises (ETIs) and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), but has also managed to attract prestigious large accounts such as Club Med and Hermès among its first clients.

The recently raised funds will primarily be invested in product development. The start-up plans to hire software engineers and product designers to expand its offering, moving from an initial use case focused on managers to a comprehensive solution for creating, distributing, and managing training at scale.

Blify's technical ambition is clear: "We raised these funds to build barriers to entry and develop the best multi-agent training system on the market."

Blify is part of the growing trend of edtech driven by generative AI, where announcements of funding rounds are multiplying. In a market that is quickly becoming saturated, sorting through the players will be inevitable.
