Conduct raises 60 million dollars for its AI operating system
The London-based startup Conduct, specializing in the development of an agentic AI operating system for large enterprises, has recently succeeded in raising 60 million dollars in a Series A funding round. This round was primarily led by Index Ventures and Iconiq, with notable participation from Creandum, Lucid Capital, and Bloom. Less than nine months ago, Conduct had already raised 11 million dollars in its initial funding. A strategic investment was also made by the German software giant SAP, which is integrating Conduct's solutions into its own products.
An innovation born from experience at Palantir
Founded in 2024 by three former engineers from Palantir, Conduct aims to create an AI operating system capable of helping large enterprises navigate their complex and highly customized software systems. The CEO and co-founder of Conduct, JP Haas, explains that these systems often contain decades of custom business logic. However, companies struggle to modify them effectively to meet ever-evolving business needs, influenced by factors such as new tariffs or changes in supply chains.
AI agents for simplified management
The platform developed by Conduct uses AI agents to analyze and synthesize the accumulated business logic across various enterprise platforms. This approach allows for a better understanding and implementation of new business features. According to Haas, this technology enables internal teams and external consultants to make changes quickly, thus avoiding the long months of work required to sift through codebases and understand the needs of business users.
Prestigious clients and global ambitions
Among Conduct's clients are prestigious names such as logistics giant DHL and the global airport group Fraport. JP Haas has expressed his ambition to see Conduct's platform power all enterprise software of the Global 200, a list of the largest companies worldwide.
Future expansion and development
Currently, Conduct's team consists of 38 people based in London. However, Haas plans to increase this workforce to 100 employees by the end of the year, with expansion planned in the UK and New York, where a new office is being opened. The funds raised will also be used for go-to-market initiatives and product development, further strengthening Conduct's position in the enterprise software solutions market.
