H Company, a French start-up founded in 2023, has quickly established itself as a key player in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) for computer use. Specializing in the development of models capable of controlling software interfaces, it stands out for its discretion and efficiency, surpassing giants like OpenAI and Anthropic.
The start-up has developed a family of models, Holo3, which excels in automating complex business processes. These models are designed to manage workflows involving up to 40 steps, where only two steps cannot be automated via API due to outdated systems or their external nature. Gautier Cloix, former CEO of Palantir and current CEO of H Company since June 2025, explains that their AI agent simply records the process, thereby simplifying workflows that would otherwise take months to automate.
A notable example of this technology's application can be found in the medical sector, where H Company dedicates 10% of its deployments to pro bono missions. At Saint-John Hospital in Bangalore, India, the start-up's AI agent allows nurses to cut their time spent on data entry in half, freeing up time for patient care.
H Company primarily targets large enterprises, with three-quarters of its clientele coming from the CAC 40 in France. The remainder consists of medium-sized businesses and scale-ups. The start-up recently launched Holo3, which achieved a score of 78.85% on the OSWorld-Verified benchmark, outperforming heavier models like Anthropic's Claude Opus 4.6 and OpenAI's GPT-5.4.
The key to their success lies in their specialization and unique approach to desktop applications, a segment often overlooked by their competitors. Gautier Cloix emphasizes that, unlike the giants focusing on generalist models, H Company is fully dedicated to optimizing AI for computer use.
Looking to the future, H Company plans to expand its capabilities into the field of robotics, where skills in computer use could prove valuable. Although Gautier Cloix remains cautious about this expansion, he acknowledges that collaborations with players like Boston Dynamics are already underway, while asserting that the priority remains to generate tangible results for large organizations.
