Full Analysis

The AI model Claude Mythos, developed by Anthropic and specialized in cybersecurity, is generating significant interest among large companies. Its release has been a real shock in the artificial intelligence sector due to its advanced capabilities in identifying numerous security vulnerabilities. In France, two giants, Crédit Agricole and Orange, are in talks with Anthropic to gain access to this cutting-edge technology.

Claude Mythos has made a mark in the industry with its ability to identify many security flaws, making it particularly attractive for companies concerned about protecting their digital infrastructures. Although the limited version, Claude Fable 5, is available, the original model continues to draw interest.

Olivier Biton, the director of technological transformation at Crédit Agricole, confirmed to L'Usine digitale that the bank is collaborating with Anthropic on cybersecurity issues, expressing a desire to join the entities with access to Claude Mythos. Orange, for its part, has also shown interest in this AI model, according to information from Le Monde.

Other French companies are also reportedly in discussions with Anthropic, although they prefer to remain anonymous for the time being. However, no French or European company has yet joined the Glasswing project, which includes organizations with access to Claude Mythos. Currently, only the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) has this access in Europe.

Since June 2, Anthropic has granted access to Claude Mythos to 150 organizations across about fifteen countries. Among these organizations are giants like Samsung, SK Hynix, SK Telecom, and British Telecom. Additionally, BNP is looking to acquire a tool similar to Claude Mythos to enhance its cybersecurity.
