The "Gorgon Halo" chip can support up to 192 GB of unified memory. With LPDDR5X-8533, the theoretical memory bandwidth would reach 273 GB/s, which is 6.6% more than the current highest-end configuration, equipped with a Ryzen AI Max+ 395, limited to 128 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 and 256 GB/s of bandwidth. "Gorgon Halo" refers to the new generation of AMD chips for this mini-PC.
Stable CPU/GPU Specifications, Slight Frequency Gains
The Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 retains a configuration of 16 cores and 32 threads under the Zen 5 architecture. The iGPU Radeon 8065S features 40 compute units under the RDNA 3.5 architecture. Compared to the Max+ 395 and its Radeon 8060S, the CPU frequency increases by 100 MHz and the GPU frequency by 100 MHz. Changes in these aspects remain limited.
