InnAIO Takes on the AI Recorder Market

The AI recorder market, already well-populated by players like Plaud, Soundcore, and Boya, is seeing the arrival of a new ambitious competitor: InnAIO. With its product TransNote, the brand is focusing on advanced features such as transcription, summaries, and especially real-time translation. At the same time, InnAIO is also offering Vinabot, a smart photo frame that brings images to life.

TransNote stands out for its ability to transform any meeting or call into an actionable report. This device, the size of a credit card, is sold for 189 euros and magnetically attaches to the back of a smartphone. In addition to recording and summarizing conversations, TransNote aims to become a true multilingual work companion. It offers the ability to translate on the fly, assist in writing, share a digital business card, and even speak with a cloned voice.

Features Designed for International Professionals

TransNote does not just capture and transcribe conversations. It uses AI models, including GPT and proprietary models, to provide meeting summaries and report templates. The device supports over 140 languages, offering real-time translation and features designed for international business exchanges.

With 32 GB of storage, five microphones, including one for bone conduction, and a recording time of 40 hours, TransNote promises a smooth user experience. Files can be transferred to the InnAIO Pro app, with the ability to send an hour of audio in just a dozen seconds via the recorder's Wi-Fi connection.

The "multi-app" translation feature is particularly innovative. It allows users to speak in their native language and see the translated text appear directly in a WhatsApp conversation, a Gmail message, or an input field, without having to switch between apps. This functionality has demonstrated its potential during demonstrations.

InnAIO also offers a multilingual group chat accessible via QR code, an NFC business card, and a voice note button that the AI can rephrase into cleaner text, without transcribing stutters or hesitations. TransNote also provides mind maps to organize ideas. However, TransNote is thicker than the Plaud Note Pro, measuring 3.8 mm at its thinnest point compared to 2.99 mm for the Plaud Note Pro.

Available in France starting July 7, TransNote will be available for pre-order from June 23. The purchase includes six months of services, allowing for 300 minutes of transcriptions per month, with paid plans for intensive use starting at 14 dollars per month.

Vinabot: A Talking Photo Frame

With Vinabot, InnAIO shifts gears by offering a connected photo frame that transforms an image into a conversational avatar. This product, while potentially useful for family settings, seems especially suited for the B2B sector: museums, booths, shops, receptions, or scripted presentations.

Vinabot allows users to create an avatar from an image, associate it with a personality, a voice, and a knowledge base, and then engage in dialogue with it. It is available in two sizes, 10.1 inches and 21.5 inches, featuring an anti-glare IPS touchscreen, 32 GB of storage, Wi-Fi connectivity, a USB-C port, and a TF card reader. The launch is scheduled for July 7, priced at 499 euros for the small model and 999 euros for the large one. A product that could find its place in public spaces.
