Apple Revolutionizes iOS 27 with AI for Wallpapers and Shortcuts

Apple is preparing an ambitious update for iOS 27, integrating artificial intelligence into key features to enhance the user experience on the iPhone. According to Bloomberg, this version aims to facilitate the customization of wallpapers and simplify the creation of shortcuts through AI.

Custom Wallpapers with Image Playground

The visual customization of the iPhone is set to take a turn with iOS 27. Apple will introduce a feature that allows users to generate personalized wallpapers through the Image Playground app. This app, already used for creating custom images and emojis, will be enhanced to produce more realistic visuals. Users will be able to design images that perfectly reflect their tastes, directly from the wallpaper customization interface. Bloomberg reports that Apple is currently testing models capable of generating images closer to reality, which could differentiate the version of Image Playground integrated into the wallpaper generator from the one currently available.

Siri and Simplified Shortcut Creation

Apple is also tackling the Shortcuts app, which until now required often complex manual setup for many users. With iOS 27, it will be possible to ask Siri to create a shortcut simply by describing the desired action. The app will provide a prompt where the user can enter a description, and the artificial intelligence will take care of generating the corresponding workflow. Once the request is made, the shortcut will be installed automatically and available immediately. This change aims to make the app more accessible, preventing users from having to build each step of the automation themselves.

For Apple, the goal is to transform existing tools into simpler and more intuitive services, thereby facilitating adoption by a larger number of users.
