This week, the tech funding world was marked by an impressive feat from Anthropic, a company specializing in generative AI. Anthropic successfully raised $65 billion in a Series H funding round, propelling its post-money valuation to an impressive $965 billion. Key investors include Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks, and Sequoia Capital, with participation from Capital Group, Coatue, D1 Capital Partners, GIC, Iconiq Capital, and XN.
Cognition and Other Major Players
In second place, Cognition, a company developing AI software tools, raised $1 billion, reaching a valuation of $26 billion. This funding round was led by Lux Capital, General Catalyst, and 8VC. Based in San Francisco, Cognition develops the AI software engineer Devin, which is at the heart of its innovations.
Stord and OpenRouter: Significant Fundraising
Other companies have also managed to secure notable funding. Stord, an Atlanta-based company, raised $250 million in a Series F funding round, establishing a valuation of $3 billion. Stord focuses on developing a fulfillment network, software, and AI tools for independent brands.

Thea Energy and Garner Health: Strategic Fundraising
Thea Energy, specializing in fusion technologies, raised $100 million in a Series B funding round led by the US Innovative Technology Fund. Based in Kearny, New Jersey, Thea Energy plans to use these funds to develop its manufacturing infrastructure.
Garner Health, a platform for finding healthcare providers, also raised $100 million in a Series E funding round led by Index Ventures. This New York-based company reached a valuation of $2.74 billion thanks to this funding.

Observable Space, a space technology startup based in Santa Monica, California, raised $90 million in a Series A funding round led by Lux Capital. The company develops and builds advanced optical systems and recently secured a $94 million contract with the U.S. Space Force.
Reactor, a development platform for real-time generative video, emerged with $59 million in funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. Based in San Francisco, Reactor focuses on innovation in the field of AI video.
ClearNote Health: Advances in Cancer Detection
Finally, ClearNote Health, based in San Diego, is developing early detection and monitoring tests for several forms of cancer. The company secured $52 million in a Series D funding round, with founding investor Mattias Westman at the helm of this round. ClearNote Health aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of its tests with this new financial boost.
