Anthropic, a leading company in the field of artificial intelligence, has decided to prohibit the use of AI tools during job interviews, unless explicitly stated otherwise. This decision, reported by Bloomberg Businessweek, aims to assess candidates' critical thinking and personal values without the influence of AI technologies.

Candidates applying to Anthropic must go through a rigorous selection process that includes up to five rounds of interviews and tests. Among these stages, a "culture" interview stands out due to its difficulty. It involves an in-depth examination of candidates' personal values, worldview, and ethical dilemmas. This round is designed to evaluate candidates' ability to think critically about the company and its challenges, a crucial aspect for a company led by Dario Amodei, known for his reflections on AI as a potentially positive but also risky force.

Failing this culture interview can significantly reduce a candidate's chances of securing a position at Anthropic. This approach underscores the importance the company places on authentic human reflection in a sector dominated by technological advancements.

In terms of compensation, Anthropic offers salaries that can reach $850,000, in addition to stock compensation.
