Anthropic enriches Claude with two beta features: connected dashboards controlled by prompts and animated explanatory video generation. Meanwhile, Docs, Slides, and Design are exiting beta across all plans, and Claude Design is set to join the main app by December 14. Anthropic reports over 45 million documents created using these tools.
General Availability of Apps and 45 Million Creations
The Docs, Slides, and Design modules are now generally available and accessible across all plans, including for free users. According to Anthropic, these tools have been used to produce over 45 million documents. Dashboards remains limited to paying customers, while Motion is available only in the Team and Enterprise offerings. Claude Design is expected to join the main application before December 14, with a migration guide provided to facilitate the transition.
Connected and Integrable Dashboards
Dashboards connects data sources such as BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, or Salesforce and allows for the generation of live dashboards from textual prompts. Each displayed figure presents its underlying query, making the indicators transparent. According to Anthropic, the results can be integrated into tools like Amplitude, Grafana, or Hex. Dashboards is part of the two new beta features launched for Claude.
Generated Animated Videos and MP4 Export
Motion allows for the generation of animated explanatory videos from textual content, diagrams, and illustrations. The produced videos can then be edited in code form and exported as MP4.
