Apple is gearing up for an enhanced iCloud Plus for the era of advanced AI

Apple is considering offering its users paid options to extend their capabilities for using artificial intelligence via iCloud Plus. During a recent earnings call, Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, expressed his belief that users will want to fully leverage Apple Intelligence and the future Siri AI. He mentioned the possibility of providing upgrades on iCloud Plus, allowing customers to purchase additional options.

This fall, Apple plans to launch Siri AI with the release of iOS 27. This new personal assistant will be capable of answering contextual questions based on the content displayed on the screen and interacting with the user's applications. Additionally, a standalone Siri AI app will be introduced, featuring an interface similar to that of ChatGPT, which could transform the way users interact with their Apple devices.
