ChatGPT has recently introduced significant improvements to facilitate the management of user-uploaded and generated files. Now, a new toolbar allows for direct referencing of recently used files, simplifying their integration into discussions. Users can also ask ChatGPT questions about the files they have already uploaded, making the interaction smoother and more intuitive.
In addition to this toolbar, the web version of ChatGPT features a new "Library" tab in the sidebar. This tab provides a clear overview of all files, centralizing their management in one place. This allows users to easily find and reuse their documents, thereby enhancing their productivity.
These new features are currently being rolled out globally for subscribers to ChatGPT's Plus, Pro, and Business plans. However, users located in the European Union, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom will have to wait a bit longer before benefiting from these improvements. OpenAI has assured that the feature will be available in these regions in the near future.
