Claude Expands to New Everyday Applications

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, Anthropic announced a significant update for its assistant Claude, adding fifteen new connectors. These integrations allow users to access popular applications such as Spotify, Uber Eats, and TripAdvisor. This expansion is available for subscribers of the Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans.

A Continuously Evolving Directory

Since its launch in July 2025, Claude's directory, known as the Claude Directory, primarily offered connections to professional applications like Canva and Figma. These tools enabled users to manage complex tasks without leaving the Claude interface. For example, a product manager could transform a request from Amplitude into a Canva presentation and then share it on Asana.

List of New Connectors

  • AllTrails
  • Audible
  • Booking.com
  • Instacart
  • Intuit Credit Karma
  • Intuit TurboTax
  • Resy
  • Spotify
  • StubHub
  • Taskrabbit
  • Thumbtack
  • TripAdvisor
  • Uber
  • Uber Eats
  • Viator

With this update, Claude now adapts to more everyday-oriented applications. Users can, for instance, plan a hike with AllTrails or listen to an audiobook via Audible, all while staying within the Claude interface. Anthropic notes that more integrations will follow soon.

Commitment to Privacy

Anthropic assures that user data is not used to train its models and that applications do not have access to other conversations with Claude. Users have the option to disconnect at any time.

Continuous Improvements

Last January, Anthropic had already introduced interactive features for tools like Amplitude and Canva. The goal was to enable paying users to collaborate more effectively. Claude now suggests the most contextually appropriate applications for the conversation. When a task can be accomplished by multiple applications, Claude suggests all of them, leaving the final choice to the user. Before any booking or purchase, confirmation is requested.

How to Connect an Application

To connect a third-party application, users must:

  • Open Claude,
  • Go to Settings,
  • Select Connectors,
  • Click on Connect in the top right corner.

It is also possible to add connectors via the + icon in the input bar. These connectors are currently in beta on iOS and Android. The connectors are being rolled out to Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers.
