Cyera Strengthens Its AI Security with Strategic Acquisition of Ryft
Cybersecurity company Cyera has recently announced the acquisition of Israeli startup Ryft, known for its specialization in automated and secure data management for artificial intelligence systems. Although the exact amount of the transaction has not been disclosed, it is estimated to be between €92 million and €120 million. This sum is significantly higher than the €6.8 million that Ryft had raised to date.
Founded in 2024, Ryft has developed an innovative platform that allows for real-time analysis and management of data access, whether performed by humans or autonomous agents. This technology relies on the automation of authorization, classification, and data optimization processes. The Ryft team, consisting of approximately 15 people, will join Cyera. Ryft's CEO, Yossi Reitblat, will lead the AI security division within Cyera.
This acquisition is part of a broader strategy by Cyera to strengthen its position in the field of securing AI-related uses, a rapidly growing sector. Cyera, which recently reached a valuation of €7.6 billion following a funding round of €340 million, continues its series of build-up operations to consolidate its market positioning.
