A Neat Markdown Rendering, with Tables and Formatting
Discord announces a significant improvement in the preview of Markdown files. Documents should no longer appear "with a multitude of symbols," but instead be rendered correctly. When a .md file is uploaded, Discord now displays the file in a neat and aesthetic manner. The rendering supports tables and formatting. The company emphasizes that this evolution makes it easier to share README files in an informal setting.
Possible Uses for AI Projects on the Platform
Language models and certain AI agents frequently use Markdown files to provide instructions or context. The improved previews could therefore be beneficial for those sharing information about AI projects on Discord.
