DXC and Anthropic: A Partnership for Generative AI

DXC Technology and Anthropic have announced a global collaboration aimed at integrating generative artificial intelligence into the critical systems of large enterprises. This initiative builds on infrastructures already utilized by banks, insurers, airlines, and public administrations. The goal is to accelerate the adoption of AI in environments where security, compliance, and reliability are non-negotiable requirements.

Generative AI, once confined to experimental uses, is now at the heart of critical operations. DXC, present in over 70 countries with 115,000 employees, has been managing essential technological infrastructures for several decades. The current challenge is no longer to experiment with AI, but to integrate it into processes where even the slightest error could have severe operational or regulatory consequences.

Deployment of Claude in Demanding Environments

The partnership between DXC and Anthropic plans to utilize Claude, a generative AI model, in critical environments. This technology is being tested internally at DXC before being offered to clients. A notable example is the DXC OASIS platform, launched in April 2026, which uses Claude to automate numerous workflows. Over 95% of the OASIS code has been generated with the help of Claude, prior to validation by software engineers, which has allowed for a tenfold increase in software development speed.

OASIS is currently being used by more than 50 clients, and large-scale deployment is expected in the coming months. DXC has also joined Anthropic's Claude partner network, further enhancing the dissemination of this technology among large enterprises.

Training and Deployment in Regulated Sectors

A key aspect of this alliance is the training of a vast network of certified Claude engineers. DXC plans to train tens of thousands of Field Deployment Engineers (FDE), who will be integrated directly with clients to tailor AI to the specific constraints of each sector.

These engineers will be trained through the Anthropic Academy and will complement their learning with internal training focused on the critical systems operated by DXC. Four priority areas have been identified:

  • In insurance, Claude will modernize core systems and develop specialized agents.
  • In application modernization, AI will assist in analyzing and refactoring existing codebases to accelerate the migration of legacy applications.
  • In cybersecurity, a security sub-agent based on Claude will enhance Security Operations Centers (SOCs).
  • Dedicated agents will be integrated into application services for the maintenance of environments managed by DXC.

Companies are now seeking AI solutions capable of operating in highly regulated and critical environments for their business. DXC and Anthropic aim to meet this demand by combining DXC's operational expertise with Anthropic's advanced models. For businesses, if these deployments deliver on promises of reliability and compliance, AI could gradually become a standard component of the systems that support the global economy.
