Elon Musk is on the lookout for highly skilled workers for an ambitious project: the development of data centers dedicated to artificial intelligence. In an announcement posted on X, the microblogging platform, Musk revealed that SpaceX, his aerospace company, is in the midst of a recruitment campaign to build these infrastructures, both on Earth and beyond. Interested candidates are encouraged to demonstrate their expertise by submitting "3 points proving exceptional capability."

This approach aligns with Musk's well-known recruitment strategy, which often employs unconventional methods to attract top talent. Indeed, in his message on X, he specified that SpaceX is looking to hire engineers and qualified professionals to create and manage the most powerful AI supercomputer clusters, not only on our planet but also in space. This mention of space reflects Musk's futuristic vision, which envisions placing data centers in orbit to meet the growing energy demands of AI.

Applicants must send their resumes along with these three points demonstrating their excellence to datacenters@spacex.com. This three-point criterion has become emblematic of Musk's recruitment style. The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX has previously asked potential candidates for leadership positions to provide three proofs of their exceptional capability or to detail three complex technical problems they have solved.

This recruitment initiative comes as SpaceX plays an increasingly central role in Musk's ambitions regarding artificial intelligence. Earlier this year, SpaceX integrated xAI, an AI startup founded by Musk, which has been rebranded as SpaceXAI. This entity is now responsible for Colossus, a massive AI supercomputer campus located in Memphis, Tennessee, where the company's Grok AI models are trained.
