The agreement brings together the industrial expertise of Eramet, the geological knowledge of the Bureau de recherches géologiques et minières (BRGM), and the artificial intelligence technology developed by the French startup Lithosquare. The signing of the partnership was announced in June by Christel Bories during an event held in the columned hall of the École des Mines de Paris, a venue surrounded by wooden cabinets containing exceptional minerals and ancient scientific instruments.
