Additionally, Saile offers access to a marketplace for shifts, serving as a portable skills passport for doctors to be identified and assigned to patients across various hospitals.

In the current system, whenever a doctor wishes to work at a new facility, whether it be a hospital, surgery center, or telemedicine platform, they must manually submit a CV, licenses, and certifications via email. Ayoub realized that while recruitment agencies act as gatekeepers, the underlying infrastructure was flawed. There was no centralized way for a doctor to maintain compliant status and share it instantly across different employment sectors.

The Impact of Saile on the Healthcare Sector

Saile's five modular AI agents automate what currently takes months of manual coordination across recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, staffing, and compliance. By combining credentialing and staffing into a single layer of infrastructure, Saile has reduced the onboarding timeline by about 45 days, from approximately 90 to 120 days, and decreased administrative tasks for healthcare facilities by around 40%.

A Self-Funded Project Gaining Momentum

What began as a self-funded project, fueled by word-of-mouth within a tight-knit community of clinicians, has quickly gained traction. The app has reached nearly 5,000 active physician users nationwide. Operating with a small core team of four, the company plans to use its new capital to enhance its AI agent infrastructure, expand its marketplace capabilities, and deepen integrations with healthcare facilities' credentialing systems.

Ryan Brosher, founder and partner at Matchstick Ventures, stated that his firm was drawn to the fit between the market and the founder they saw in Saile. "Marc had felt the pain of this problem and had actually built this more or less for himself from the start," Brosher said. "We love these combinations where founders are not just randomly looking for a solution to make money. It was very personal for him in the problem he was solving."

The company also sees a "big" market opportunity in offering an "all-in-one" solution for doctors looking to take on side jobs. "People have tried to tackle this in various ways. They either focused on credentialing or acted as a recruitment agency," Brosher added. "And when we look at this market, we think there needs to be a disruption here... Ultimately, Saile is building the underlying infrastructure layer for staffing. We believe owning this all-in-one infrastructure layer is where the true value lies."
