Fred24: An AI Assistant to Democratize Entrepreneurial Mentorship

Frédéric Mazzella, known for co-founding BlaBlaCar and Dift, is innovating with the launch of Fred24, a virtual assistant that allows entrepreneurs to access his advice at any time. This digital twin, trained on his own content and capable of replicating his voice, aims to make entrepreneurial mentorship accessible on a large scale. Other figures in French Tech are following this trend, developing personalized assistants that promise to transform how entrepreneurs receive guidance.

The Rise of AI Clones in Entrepreneurship

The idea of condensing twenty years of entrepreneurial experience into a 24/7 available assistant is appealing to several leaders in French Tech. Thanks to advancements in generative AI and voice synthesis, these entrepreneurs are creating digital twins capable of conveying their advice and thought processes. These "AI clones" are no longer just generating content; they aim to assist entrepreneurs in their strategic decisions, whether it involves fundraising, recruitment, or product development.

Fred24: An Innovative Commercial Offering

Frédéric Mazzella is one of the first to offer such a commercial service with Fred24. This AI assistant responds to entrepreneurs' questions in writing or orally and allows users to ask up to ten questions for free via a chatbot. For extended access, a subscription is required, costing 399 euros excluding tax for six months or 699 euros excluding tax for twelve months. Users can also interact with Fred24 by phone, where responses are delivered by a synthetic voice mimicking Mazzella's.

An Assistant Fueled by Rich Experience

The AI behind Fred24 has been trained on Mazzella's experience since the creation of BlaBlaCar, as well as his lectures, books, interviews, and private content. "I see the impact that a few tailored pieces of advice can have on the effectiveness and confidence they subsequently develop," explains Mazzella. The AI adapts to the questions asked and draws its answers from thousands of content pieces, providing results that, according to Mazzella, often resemble what he would say himself.

Miria: The Technology Behind Fred24

Fred24 was developed in collaboration with Miria, a platform specializing in creating personalized AI for executives and entrepreneurs. Founded in October 2025 by Louis Bordeau, Noé Campo, and Paul Gee, Miria utilized technologies from Mistral AI and Gradium, the latter having recently received an investment from Nvidia.

The Multiplication of Digital Twins

Miria also offers interactions with other figures in French Tech, such as Jean de la Rochebrochard and Guillaume Moubeche. Currently, 27 profiles are available, with new "AI clones" in development, including one of Jean-Pierre Nadir, founder of Easyvoyage.

A Growing Market

Other entrepreneurs are also exploring this market. Eric Larchevêque, co-founder of Ledger, has integrated an AI assistant into his SKL Club, allowing members to benefit from recommendations based on 300 hours of content. Similarly, Jacques Pommeraud, CEO of Inetum, uses a digital twin to coach multiple executives simultaneously.

A Monetization Opportunity for Experts

For entrepreneurs and investors with a vast library of content, these assistants represent a new opportunity to monetize their expertise. They allow for responses to hundreds of users without directly mobilizing their time. However, the question remains as to how far these clones can replicate the relevance and depth of human advice. The quality of training data and the AI's ability to recognize its limitations will be crucial for their success. While "AI clones" are unlikely to replace human mentors, they could become an essential tool for initial consultation.
