Google Photos innovates by launching a new feature that uses artificial intelligence to allow users to virtually try on clothes they already own. This technological advancement enables the creation of a virtual "wardrobe" from the photos in your gallery, making it easier to mix and match different outfits.
A video demonstration shared by Google illustrates how this feature organizes your clothing into outfits and individual pieces within a virtual "wardrobe." Users can not only browse outfits they have already worn but also experiment with new combinations by selecting various tops, bottoms, skirts, dresses, and shoes to create unique looks.
A button located in the bottom right corner of each outfit allows users to virtually try on the selected clothing.
Last year, Google had already introduced a virtual try-on feature through its search engine, but this was limited to clothing searched online. Now, this new "wardrobe" feature in Google Photos will first be available on Android devices this summer, before expanding to iOS users later in the year.
