Grokipedia Resumes Updates, Musk Remains Silent

After months without updates reported in August, the Grokipedia encyclopedia is showing new activity: some pages have been recently verified, and user suggestions are being addressed. The officials promise improvements, but public communication remains sparse.

SpaceXAI did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Elon Musk has not posted on X about Grokipedia since February, after claiming about a year ago that Grokipedia would be "a massive improvement over Wikipedia." Last week, Benji Taylor, head of design at X and SpaceXAI, stated that the team had not forgotten Grokipedia and that version v0.2 would be better than ever, although this version was technically launched in November.

Recent Verifications but Uneven Progress

The site that lists updates in real-time shows several recent changes on certain pages, even though many still display a note inviting users to verify all references and sources. The page for Barack Obama indicates it was verified by Grok two days ago, while Elon Musk's page was verified in the hour preceding the writing of this article, and the page for Honolulu has not been reviewed in 7 months. In August, Lawfare reported that articles had not been revised since April. The site's activity seems to have resumed recently after a period of inactivity.

Contributions: One Update Accepted, One Creation Under Review

A suggestion to add the release date of the game Gears of War: E-Day has been accepted and integrated, with the date indicated as October 6. Additionally, a request to create an article about Meta's chatbot Muse is currently marked "Under Review." These examples show that user suggestions are being considered and gradually processed.
