Hyve Takes Over Raise Summit: AI at the Dawn of a New Era

The British group Hyve, known for its expertise in organizing professional events, has recently expanded its portfolio by acquiring the Raise Summit and the Machina Summit. This operation also includes Signal Week, formerly known as Paris Blockchain Week. These conferences, which took place in Paris, represent a significant milestone in the tech event landscape.

The Raise Summit, which just concluded its third edition in Paris, is now under the management of Hyve. This group, specialized in B2B events, is already behind several renowned conferences such as HLTH, Shoptalk, and Fintech Meetup. In addition to the Raise Summit, Hyve has also acquired the Machina Summit, a conference dedicated to robotics, which was launched this year by the Raise Summit, as well as Signal Week, an evolution of Paris Blockchain Week. The financial details of this transaction have not been disclosed.

A New Chapter for AI and Blockchain

This acquisition marks the beginning of a new chapter for these three events, which have played a crucial role in establishing Paris as a global hub for artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency. According to Mark Shashoua, CEO of Hyve, these events are benchmarks in their respective fields, created by visionaries who have anticipated the evolution of their industries. Hyve intends to leverage this acquisition to develop a "super vertical" dedicated to AI. "AI is entering a new phase of maturity, where innovation is increasingly shaped by collaboration among founders, companies, investors, and public decision-makers," he stated.

Towards International Expansion

The founders of the events, Michael Amar and Charlie Meraud for Signal Week, as well as Henri Delahaye and Hadrien de Cournon for the Raise Summit and Machina Summit, will continue to lead their teams. They hope that this acquisition will allow them to expand internationally, with plans for "geo-cloning" to replicate these events in other regions. "There is still much to write. The ambition is to take advantage of this platform that Hyve offers us while maintaining our original DNA," explained Hadrien de Cournon.

At its last edition, the Raise Summit attracted over 9,000 participants from 90 countries, while the Machina Summit, held for the first time at Station F, welcomed 2,200 visitors. These two events, complementary in their approach, will take place together next year at the Palais des Congrès in Porte Maillot, in early July.

A Common Agenda for 2027

Signal Week, which gathered over 10,000 participants this year, will join the Raise Summit and Machina Summit for a joint event from July 6 to 8 next year. "We are reshaping our agenda to recreate an ecosystem of events during the same week," clarified Hadrien de Cournon. After a memorable 2026 edition, notably marked by a gala dinner at the Château de Versailles, the players in AI and blockchain already know where they will meet next year.
