Claude Code and Its New Ultraplan Feature
Claude Code introduces Ultraplan, a feature that enables multi-agent planning, where Claude thoroughly explores your codebase to develop a detailed plan for the task you wish to accomplish.
How Ultraplan Works
Ultraplan is exclusively available to subscribers of the Pro and Max plans of Claude Code. Currently, this feature is only accessible in CLI (command-line interface) mode. To use it, simply open a terminal window, launch Claude, and enter the following command:
/ultraplan [explain the task you want Claude Code to plan]
A Different Approach from the Traditional Plan Mode
What sets Ultraplan apart from the traditional Plan mode is its ability to conduct an in-depth search of your codebase. This approach allows for the generation of more comprehensive plans specifically tailored to the needs of your project.
Preparation Needed to Use Ultraplan
Before you can take advantage of Ultraplan, certain preparation steps are necessary:
