Singulier and Ommax: A Strategic Merger

The French firm Singulier has announced its merger with the German company Ommax, creating a new European platform dedicated to transforming businesses through artificial intelligence and data. This partnership, supported by Eurazeo, results in the formation of an entity comprising over 400 consultants located in key cities such as Paris, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, London, Amsterdam, and Milan. The stated goal is to achieve a revenue between 80 and 100 million euros with an ambition to triple in size over the next five years.

A Consolidation of the AI Consulting Market

The artificial intelligence consulting market in Europe is entering a phase of consolidation, and this merger between Singulier and Ommax exemplifies this trend. Together, they are creating a pan-European platform aimed at assisting companies in their digital transformation, with a focus on data and AI. This new entity positions itself as a major player capable of meeting the growing demand from businesses for AI strategies on a European scale.

Complementary Expertise and Locations

Ommax, founded in 2011 in Munich, has expanded in Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and Italy, focusing on digital transformation, data, and AI. The firm has experienced impressive organic growth of 40% per year over the last decade and counts renowned companies such as Siemens, Chanel, Lufthansa, and FC Bayern München AG among its clients, as well as several international investment funds.

On the other hand, Singulier, established in Paris in 2017 by Mathieu Ferel and Rémi Pesseguier, has made a name for itself among private equity funds and their portfolio companies. With clients like Ardian, Bridgepoint, PAI Partners, and CMA CGM, Singulier raised 5 million euros at the end of 2023 from Founders Future and MACSF to accelerate its international development. Mathieu Ferel emphasizes that "Ommax has an ADN very close to ours," which facilitated their merger.

An Acceleration in AI and Data

The new entity intends to intensify its efforts to support leaders on issues related to artificial intelligence and data. Currently, it has around 120 consultants specialized in these areas and aims to help companies move from proof of concept to large-scale deployments capable of generating measurable operational gains.

Strong Capital Support

From a financial perspective, this merger is part of a LBO led by Eurazeo, which entered the capital of Ommax in July 2025 to support its international expansion. The founders of both firms remain at the helm of the new structure, while Founders Future exits Singulier but reinvests in the new entity. Mathieu Ferel concludes: "We all remain entrepreneurs and fully involved in this adventure," highlighting the complementary approaches and geographical footprints of the two companies.
