Impulse Space, a California-based company located in Redondo Beach, specializes in developing spacecraft and propulsion systems for transport and orbital repositioning. This Series D funding, led by 137 Ventures and Banner VC, brings the total investment in the company to over $1 billion.

In the field of artificial intelligence, Supabase also raised $500 million. This San Francisco-based company provides an open-source platform for developers and AI application creators. The funding, led by GIC, allowed Supabase to reach a valuation of $10.5 billion.

Another New York-based company, Flourish, which develops artificial intelligence models inspired by the human brain, also raised $500 million in an initial funding round. Notable investors include Jeff Bezos, Lux Capital, and Google Ventures.

Other Notable Fundings

Helion, an ambitious startup aiming to build the world's first fusion power plant, secured $465 million in a Series G funding round. This round, led by Thrive Capital, allowed the Everett, Washington-based company to achieve a post-funding valuation of $15.5 billion. According to Crunchbase data, the total reported funding for Helion now stands at at least $1.5 billion.

In the biotechnology sector, NewLimit, a drug developer aiming to restore youthful function in aged cells through epigenetic reprogramming, closed a $435 million funding round as part of a Series C. This round was led by Founders Fund for this South San Francisco, California-based company co-founded by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong.

$400 Million Fundings

Two companies raised $400 million each. Suno, a provider of AI tools for music creation, raised this amount in a Series D funding round led by Bond. This round established a valuation of $5.4 billion for the company, which is facing lawsuits from several music labels for training its AI on copyrighted materials.

Generalist AI, a startup focused on using AI to enable robots to perform complex tasks, also raised $400 million in a new funding round led by Radical Ventures. This funding apparently established a valuation of $2 billion for this two-year-old company based in San Mateo, California.

Finally, AlphaSense, a market intelligence and AI-powered workflow orchestration platform, closed a $350 million funding round in a new round led by Vitruvian Partners, Accenture Ventures, and J.P.
