The Swedish company Lovable, specializing in the innovative field of "vibe coding," is on the verge of completing a new funding round that could double its current valuation. Lovable's CEO, Anton Osika, recently traveled to Paris to participate in the Raise Summit, a key event for startups and investors.
An Ambitious Funding Round for Lovable
Lovable, which has quickly established itself as a unicorn in the artificial intelligence sector, is preparing for a significant funding round. According to information reported by Sifted, the company is in discussions to raise $300 million. This operation could bring Lovable's valuation to $13.2 billion. Menlo Ventures, a major player in Silicon Valley, is said to be in charge of this fundraising effort. This investment fund recently launched a new $3 billion vehicle and has already invested in promising companies like Anthropic, a direct competitor of OpenAI.
Strong Revenue Growth
Lovable's last funding round took place in December 2025, when the company secured $330 million from CapitalG and Menlo Ventures. At that time, Lovable was valued at $6.6 billion, just eight months after its founding. Since emerging from "stealth mode" in November 2024, Lovable has experienced impressive growth. Last June, the company announced it had reached $500 million in annual revenue. Its platform, which enables users to create websites and software without coding skills through generative AI, attracts one million new projects each week.
Fierce Competition in "Vibe Coding"
The "vibe coding" sector is marked by intense competition. Lovable's main rival in the United States, Cursor, was recently acquired by SpaceX in a deal valued at $60 billion. Other startups, such as Replit, have also entered this field, currently valued at $9 billion. Therefore, Lovable must continue to innovate to maintain its lead and solidify its position in the global market. The company was founded by Anton Osika and Fabian Hedin, who have successfully transformed Lovable into a leading enterprise in record time.
