Meta is rolling out its AI agent Muse for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with Muse for Small Business, available in the United States and Canada. The tool connects to Meta accounts and new third-party services, operates with user validation, and offers a free tier alongside two subscription plans. This extension follows a highly downloaded public launch in North America. No date has been provided for France.
Over 3 Million Downloads and a Multi-Platform Launch
According to Sensor Tower, Muse has surpassed 3 million downloads in North America and has ranked first on both the App Store and Google Play Store, ahead of ChatGPT. At this stage, the majority of installations are organic, while Meta is also promoting the app to Facebook and Instagram users. In the United States, Muse has been accessible since September 8 on iOS, Android, WhatsApp, and via a web version. The agent operates using the Muse Spark model. Meta presents it as an assistant designed for everyone, capable of handling daily tasks, with each action subject to user validation. The company emphasizes an easy onboarding process that requires no learning, even for novice users.
Limited Availability to North America and Date Announcement
Muse for Small Business is currently deployed only in the United States and Canada. No date has been announced for France. The announcement was made by Meta on September 29, 2026, approximately three weeks after the initial launch of Muse.
Connections to Meta Accounts and New Third-Party Connectors
To understand a business's activity, Muse connects to the Meta Ads Manager, Instagram account, and Facebook page, then cross-references this data with other tools used daily. Meta cites several possible uses: analyzing sales, campaigns, and social media activity from the past year to develop a growth strategy, sorting emails and appointments to highlight urgent topics, evaluating sponsored campaigns and identifying high-performing content, or even compiling a monthly financial report and spotting unusual expenses. Meta has expanded the list of integrations: the agent can now connect to Slack, Notion, Asana, Canva, Figma, or Dropbox, with the complete list available in the app settings. Muse also supports custom connectors through the Custom Connector feature to link incompatible services. Meta plans to add more connectors and capabilities in the coming months and anticipates that an increased share of business activities can be managed. The company specifies that the user remains in control: the agent requests approval before any action, and nothing is published, sent, or spent without consent.
Controlled Free Tier and Two Subscriptions at $20 and $100
Muse for Small Business is offered in a free version with limitations. Some professional uses may be more token-consuming. Two paid plans are available at $20 and $100 per month.
