Mistral AI, the French unicorn specializing in artificial intelligence, has recently entered into a major agreement with Microsoft. This deal, valued at several billion dollars, will allow Microsoft to leverage Mistral's computing capabilities in Europe. This collaboration comes at a crucial time as Mistral is considering a fundraising round that could elevate its valuation to 20 billion euros.

Arthur Mensch, CEO of Mistral, expressed his satisfaction regarding the prospect of seeing his AI models deployed globally, both by companies and public institutions. In February, Mistral announced a 1.2 billion euro investment for the construction of data centers in Sweden, marking its first expansion outside of France. Furthermore, according to Bloomberg, Mistral is in discussions to raise 3 billion euros, which could value the company at 20 billion euros.
