Initially, Omen AI focused on heavy vehicles, with Caterpillar as a key client. Caterpillar is also a major supplier of gas turbines and generators to provide on-site power to data centers. However, the company quickly identified the potential of data centers, where cooling systems are crucial. In response to growing demand, Omen refocused its efforts on this sector, attracting new clients interested in optimizing their infrastructures.

Strong Industry Support

Cory Rellas, a partner at Nava Ventures, highlights the rarity of a young founder like Laberge, who is able to earn the respect of large companies in a sector that is traditionally slow to evolve. The quick validation by major clients has bolstered Omen AI's credibility in the industry.

Cutting-Edge Technology for an Expanding Market

Since its inception in 2024, Omen AI has raised $40 million and is collaborating with a dozen clients in the data center sector, including TensorWave, which is developing an AI computing cloud based on AMD chips. According to Piotr Tomasik, president of TensorWave, precise fluid monitoring is essential for optimizing the performance of computing infrastructures.

Although Omen is not alone in this market, with competitors like Pyxis recently launching a similar product, recent advancements in optical technologies and signal processing have made these solutions viable at scale.
