In its blog post titled "Apple is Wrong," OpenAI accuses Apple of misrepresenting the facts regarding the lawsuit. The AI company highlighted what it considers to be errors in Apple's legal communication and published messages it believes are essential for understanding the dispute.

The article emphasizes: "Apple is one of the greatest companies of all time and has built a reputation by paying attention to the smallest details." It goes on to assert that the lawsuit is "frivolous, aggressive, and strangely personal," which does not align with Apple's reputation.

Monday's post bolsters the defense of the AI lab. It states that Apple employees contacted Liu after his departure to OpenAI in January and that the company fails to "properly manage access to systems when people leave."

Apple’s Accusations Against OpenAI

Apple filed a lawsuit against OpenAI in July, claiming that the creator of ChatGPT benefited from trade secrets obtained by former Apple employees. Among the allegations, Apple asserts that Chang Liu, a former engineer at the firm, retained and accessed confidential information after joining OpenAI in January.
