Each week, approximately two million messages related to health insurance are sent via ChatGPT. Among these messages, 600,000 come from individuals residing in "healthcare deserts," meaning areas where the nearest hospital is more than a 30-minute drive away. Furthermore, it is noteworthy that seven out of ten queries are made outside traditional healthcare facility hours.

Smith recounted how his family used ChatGPT to coordinate care for his ailing father by compiling information from various healthcare professionals.
