However, local execution of AI models requires significant hardware resources, with a minimum of 64 GB of RAM, and up to 128 GB for more complex models like DeepSeek v4. Pae remains optimistic about the future reduction of these requirements, highlighting the rapid advancements in local AI.

Osaurus supports a wide range of models, including MiniMax M2.5, Gemma 4, and GPT-OSS, as well as cloud models from OpenAI and Anthropic. It also offers over 20 plugins for various uses, ranging from email management to web browsing.
