According to estimates from the research group Epoch AI, the United States possesses about 75% of the world's AI computing power, placing it far ahead of China, which holds around 10%. Recent data published by Epoch AI, supported by the Coefficient Giving charity of Dustin Moskovitz, provides insight into AI computing capacity by Q4 2025. These estimates are based on AI chips equivalent to Nvidia's H100 GPUs, which measure each chip's capacity to perform operations at its maximum.
