In this context, Alex Karp defended Dario Amodei, the CEO of Anthropic, asserting that he is not the "caricature" that some Americans might imagine. Karp has spent time discussing with Amodei and believes that his personality and intentions are often misunderstood. The Importance of Sovereign AI

During July, Karp highlighted his vision of sovereign AI, an approach where companies retain control of their data without entrusting it to third parties like OpenAI or Anthropic. The Field-Deploy Engineer Model

Karp criticized OpenAI for poorly copying Palantir's model. During the general meeting, he emphasized the importance of having engineers who do not merely "masturbate and sell tokens," but who provide tangible value to companies.
