Reecall Raises €3.5M and Quadruples Its Revenue in 8 Months

Reecall claims to have quadrupled its revenue in eight months after pivoting to a white-label voice AI service, and is now aiming for a European rollout. The Lyon-based startup has completed a €3.5 million funding round led by Founders Future, with participation from Evolem (an existing investor), Holnest, Mesh, and several business angels. Francis Nappez joins the board, while the company highlights references such as Alcatel-Lucent, Simplify, and Obat.
Announced Traction and European Ambitions
Reecall asserts that it has quadrupled its revenue in eight months with its new approach, although it has not disclosed specific amounts. The company states that its clients include Alcatel-Lucent, Simplify, and Obat. It plans to use the funds raised to strengthen its workforce and expand across Europe. The pivot occurred while the company was profitable, and Maxime Trouche emphasizes that the product was functioning well and customers were satisfied.
From Turnkey Product to White Label, to Industrialize Voice AI
Last year, after handling over 30 million calls in production, Reecall decided to launch a white-label offering that allows its clients to design and implement voice AI solutions under their own brand. The rise of telephone conversational agents prompted management to prepare for market transformation. Maxime Trouche explains that the team reevaluated everything, identifying the main obstacle as the industrialization of voice AI at scale, and presents this pivot as the culmination of five years of field experience. Originally, the company founded by Maxime Trouché and Raphaël Szymocha developed conversational AI for call centers and support services. A pivot in 2025 is mentioned despite a profitable model.

€3.5 Million Raised and a Strengthened Board
The startup has completed a funding round of €3.5 million led by Founders Future, a fund described as transatlantic. Evolem, an existing investor in Reecall, is reinvesting in this round. Holnest, the family office of Jean-Michel Aulas, and Mesh, the seed fund of the CCI Lyon Métropole Saint-Étienne Roanne, also participated, alongside business angels including Francis Nappez, co-founder of BlaBlaCar, who joins the board. The previous funding round dates back to September 2022, with participation from Evolem, Newfund, and Kima Ventures.
Investors' Bet on Industrialization
Founders Future has praised Reecall's pivot. According to Louis Sautet, Partner at the fund, in three years, most business software will integrate a conversational layer, and very few will build it themselves. He believes that value will shift towards those capable of industrializing it, and emphasizes that Reecall has moved away from a functioning model to position itself on this challenge.
