Solara is Based on Android, Not Windows

Surprisingly, Solara is based on Android rather than Windows. This choice is driven by the need for flexibility and energy efficiency for the targeted devices, which often have limited resources. Android enables these devices to remain compact while providing the security and management features required by businesses.

A Project Still in Development

Although promising, the devices presented by Microsoft are not intended for direct commercialization.
