A Human Approach to Agentic AI

Moonlearning.io, a learning platform, has explored a new method for integrating artificial intelligence into the management of creative projects. The initiative began with SOLO, a book on autonomous product creation. One year after its publication, the book is already outdated, illustrating the rapid evolution of the technological field. The author, feeling guilty about selling a product he didn't have time to maintain, sought to use agents to assist him.

In collaboration with Claude, an AI assistant, the author was able to build a system in just one day, although the process had a rocky start. Today, it takes no more than an hour to replicate this system. Since then, the author has formed other teams for various areas of work, and a new team is being created to oversee the entire business.

AI Agents in Action

The team of AI agents includes an editor-in-chief, a voice assistant, a sales manager, a product manager, and a reader advocate. These agents do not write the book but act as editors, providing valuable support. They read, edit, create files, and update themselves between sessions. Their role is to assist the author in thinking, editing, planning, and building projects.

The agents challenge the author when he shows signs of laziness or excessive attachment to certain ideas. Sometimes, they even advise him to end the workday.

Getting Started with Claude Cowork

To use these agents, one must download Claude Cowork, a desktop application developed by Anthropic. It functions like a classic chat interface and is free to start, although heavy usage may cost around 90 euros. The application allows users to choose the Opus model for more ambitious tasks.

The first step is to create a folder on the computer, named for example AgenticBook. Inside, a file called CLAUDE.md serves as the foundation for the team of agents. This file is essential and loads automatically at each session. It is advisable to ask Claude to discuss first, as Cowork can be very enthusiastic and start building before the user has finished their sentence.

Detailed File Structure

The file structure is organized as follows:

1. The Brain: Contains the CLAUDE.md file with the roles of the agents, the author's voice, and operational rules.

2. The Filing Cabinet: Includes folders for reference material, stable entries, dynamic updates, and team productions.

   • context/: Includes files such as brand-voice.md (brand voice samples), brand-identity.md (brand identity), book-metadata.md (book metadata), and reader-feedback.md (reader feedback).
   • status/: Contains files like session-briefing.md (session briefing), activity-log.md (activity log), and changelog-strategy.md (change strategy).
   • output/: Groups the team's productions, such as articles and launch emails.
   • website-source/: Contains the source of the website thesolo.io.

This organization allows for efficient and structured project management, thereby facilitating collaboration between the author and the AI agents.
