KPMG at VivaTech: A Showcase of Trustworthy AI

At the tenth edition of VivaTech, KPMG's booth stood out as a must-visit. Over four days, this leader in auditing and consulting in France launched numerous initiatives to highlight the potential of artificial intelligence. The booth was not just a simple exhibition space, but a genuine hub for exchange and learning. KPMG organized many conferences and demonstrations, facilitated meetings with innovative startups, and offered learning pathways for its clients and partners.

KPMG's space at VivaTech was designed to provide an immersive experience of artificial intelligence. Visitors were able to attend over 25 keynotes featuring experts from KPMG France and KPMG International, as well as leaders from partner companies. These presentations allowed for the sharing of concrete feedback on the use of AI across various sectors.

The 192 m² booth was rich in activities, featuring demonstrations of AI agents developed by KPMG, learning pathways throughout the aisles of VivaTech, a dedicated space for eight startups, and the "Future Gallery." Additionally, three immersive experiences were set up to explore themes of trust, human resources, and value creation through AI. "We envisioned a booth as a true place for exchange with more than 25 keynotes, demonstrations of AI agents, and spaces allowing our clients to concretely discover the uses of these technologies," explained Albane-Liger Belair, Head of Innovation, KPMG France.

Responsible AI at the Center of Discussions

Beyond technological demonstrations, KPMG's booth hosted in-depth discussions on the challenges of deploying responsible AI. Axel de Goursac, partner at KPMG France and head of AI, highlighted the use of AI agents in fields such as animal health and industry, particularly for software prototype design and marketing content production.

The conferences addressed crucial themes for the development of trustworthy AI, such as digital sovereignty, data governance, cybersecurity, and scaling AI projects. Renowned experts, including Steve Chase, Global Head of AI and Digital Innovation at KPMG International, Samantha Gloede, Global Trusted AI Leader, and Gary Wingrove, CEO and Chairman of KPMG International, shared the stage with leaders from companies like AXA, Salesforce, Notion, Verizon, as well as the Estonian Minister of Economy.

Axel de Goursac emphasized that this edition of VivaTech was distinguished by a more impact-focused approach to AI adoption rather than mere technological demonstrations.

Startups in the Spotlight and a Dedicated AI Challenge

KPMG's booth also showcased eight promising startups, such as Getmint, which specializes in GEO referencing to enhance business visibility to generative AIs, and Giskard, which offers a testing and validation platform for AI systems.

The Startup Challenge "Agentic AI for Customer Experience" rewarded the most innovative solutions in the field of AI agents applied to customer relations. The startup Lemrock won the award for its technology capable of transforming a website into an intelligent conversational interface.

Axel de Goursac concluded by stating that VivaTech is a true catalyst for innovation, allowing attendees to see in just a few days what is already working and the trends that will transform businesses. He emphasized the importance of moving from strategy to execution to fully leverage innovations in AI.
